  RED is a robot that checks HTTP resources to see how they'll behave, pointing out common problems and suggesting improvements. Although it is not a HTTP conformance tester, it can find a number of HTTP-related issues.

  peeping into memcached

  Peep uses ptrace to freeze a running memcached server, dump the internal key metadata, and return the server to a running state. The state can then be dumped in MySQL and examined for performance and usage analysis.
